The Draco tera matrix Compact is available with 16, 32 or 48 ports and it is used to establish connections from consoles (monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripheral devices) to various sources (computer, CPU). In its full configuration, 48 independent ports can be defined and switched either as a console or a CPU. The Draco tera matrix is mainly specified for the use with extenders that are able to transmit video, audio, KVM and USB 2.0 signals. The connection between the matrix and the peripheral devices, such as KVM extenders or video sources, can be made by Cat X cables. The matrix serves as a repeater. Thus, the matrix can be run at a maximum distance of 140 m from the consoles and 140 m from the sources. You can access the Draco tera Compact for configuration and operation via OSD, Optional Java tool (Network). For your individual requirements we offer additional software bundles.

Flex-Port Technology

• Each port can be dynamically configured as input or output
• Traditional matrixes require an equal number of input ports to output ports. The Draco tera compact allows an asymmetrical matrix configuration which means that, at its limit, 47 computers can be operated by one console or 47 consoles can have access to one computer.

Smart Connect

• Automatic recognition & mapping of Draco extenders
• No need to configure I/O port configurations
• All extenders have a unique address (ID) which can be identified by the matrix
• When reconnecting / hot plugging the extenders, the matrix automatically reassigns each Draco extenderto the relevant port
