480c Series (tera compact) fiber optic matrix switch frames for sizes ranging from 8 to 80 ports
The compact 480c series, specifically designed for smaller to mid-sized KVM requirements, now comes in 8, 16, 32, 48, 64 and 80 fiber ports complimenting the current Cat-X solutions in the same port sizes. These cost effective switch units can be used with IHSE USA’s 474, 477, 481 and 482 series extender modules creating one of the World’s widest selection of KVM solutions for HDMI, DVI, Dual-Link DVI, VGA, USB-HID, USB 2.0, Audio and serial RS-232.
Matrix Grid firmware to manage up to 16 matrices under one flat control interface
Matrix Grid is an optional firmware package designed to combine up to 16 Draco tera matrices under the control of one virtual super-matrix system. It includes full status monitoring of all components in the system and can quickly update users with real-time status. Operators can access all connected computers within the Matrix Grid from any connected console in real-time to make switches or re-route connections during disconnects. Matrix Grid physical connections are transparent to users. Individual users experience a single matrix switch and do not need to be aware of the substructure of the virtual super-matrix. Matrices can be separated over large distances and located in different buildings. Since each matrix hosts consoles and computers, the dynamic architecture of Matrix Grid makes it possible to access all sources from each workstation, no matter where they are located.
Other products on display include:
480 Series: Draco tera enterprise
The Draco tera enterprise (480 series) hybrid fiber/cat-x switch matrix offers advanced features for large scale KVM class signal routing such as instant switching and flex-port technology allowing any port to act as either a CPU (TX) or Console (RX) depending on the connected device. The Draco tera enterprise is ideal for the space constrained work areas such as mobile production, production studios or command and control environments. Each switch matrix can be populated in groups of 8 ports in either fiber or cat-X. Additionally, the switch matrix can be populated as a full fiber, full cat-x or a mix of fiber/cat-x based on custom requirements. The switch matrix supports an endless possibility of HDMI, DVI, SDI, HD-SDI, Dual Link DVI, USB, audio and serial interfaces.
474 Series: Draco tera vario
The IHSE USA vario 474 series of extenders offer long distance transmission of DVI-I, DVI-D, USB-HID, USB 1.0/2.0, analog or digital audio and RS-232 control signals over Cat-X or fiber optic cabling. The units can extend DVI video signals with perfect quality up to 10km over fiber or up to 140m over cat-X cables. Images are displayed without delay, brilliantly clear and in perfect resolution quality. Additionally, the vario series 474 can accept separate USB 1.0/2.0, analog or digital audio and RS-232 data. Audio options for the vario cards include AES/EBU and S/PDIF up to 96kHz. Unit connection options for audio include mini-XLR, RCA or TOSLINK supporting Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM. Available in four frame sizes, the series 474 offers one of the most flexible packaging options on the market. From a basic 2 slot chassis, the same card sets can be offered in a 4-slot, 6-slot, and 21-slot frame. Each frame includes the option for redundant power in 100-220VAC or integrated 12VDC, 24VDC, or 48VDC power supply.
417 Series: USB 3.0 Two port fiber optic extenders
The IHSE USA 417 series USB 3.0 two port extenders allow users the ability to extend full speed USB 3.0 up to 100 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber optic cabling. As a true plug-and-play solution these extenders are compatible with Windows ®, Linux ® and Mac OS X® operating systems. The 417 USB 3.0 series is housed in a rugged aluminum chassis featuring two locking USB 3.0 ports and a locking power connector. With throughput up to 5Gbps they are perfectly suited for high resolution USB 3.0 machine vision cameras, post production editing, security camera extenders and remote storage devices.
